Workshop on "Critical Infrastructure - Adaptation for Climate Change"

The Academy’s Standing Committee on Climate Change is preparing a report on “Critical Infrastructure – Adaptation for Climate Change”. It held a workshop in Dublin Castle on the 28th April 2009 to obtain input from owners of critical infrastructure, policy makers, climate change researchers and engineers. More than 70 delegates from North and South attended the workshop which was addressed by Mr. John Gormley, TD, Minister for the Environment.

The output from the workshop will form part of a report which will include recommendations for action and to Government and government agencies in Northern Ireland and the Republic.
